1. Introduction

Welcome to RentIt ("the Platform"), a property listing service operated by RentIt Zimbabwe. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.

2. Platform Description

RentIt is an online marketplace that connects tenants and landlords for residential and commercial property rentals in Zimbabwe. We provide a platform for landlords to list properties and for tenants to discover, view, and inquire about rental properties.

3. User Responsibilities

All users must:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information when registering and using the Platform
  • Not engage in fraudulent or misleading activities
  • Not use the Platform for any illegal purpose
  • Respect other users' privacy and rights
  • Comply with all applicable laws of Zimbabwe

4. Landlord Responsibilities

  • Ensure all property listing information is accurate, truthful, and up to date
  • Respond to tenant inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Honor commitments made through the Platform
  • Comply with all applicable rental and property laws in Zimbabwe

5. Subscriptions & Pricing

Access to landlord contact details requires an active subscription ("Access Pass"). Subscription fees are non-refundable. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to the following:

  • Subscription fees are charged upfront and are non-refundable, including for unused periods
  • We reserve the right to change pricing at any time, with notice to active subscribers
  • Each subscription grants a limited number of contact views as specified on the pricing page
  • Subscriptions are for individual use only and may not be shared

6. Limitation of Liability

RentIt provides a platform for connecting landlords and tenants. We do not:

  • Verify property listings or landlord claims
  • Inspect properties listed on our platform
  • Guarantee the accuracy of any listing information
  • Facilitate rental agreements or handle disputes between parties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RentIt and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.

7. Prohibited Activities

Users may not:

  • Submit fake, misleading, or duplicate property listings
  • Attempt to circumvent subscription payment requirements
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
  • Use automated bots or scrapers to access the Platform
  • Post false reviews or manipulate ratings

8. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Terminated users forfeit any remaining subscription benefits without refund.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Users will be notified of material changes via email or platform notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Zimbabwe. Any disputes arising from the use of this Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zimbabwe.
